CDC HEADS UP Rocket Blades is the first-ever mobile game app developed by the CDC, designed to educate children aged 6 to 8 about concussion safety. Set in a futuristic world of galactic racing adventures, the game aims to promote safe and informed play among children.
Players are tasked with guiding their characters through various challenges, ensuring they avoid obstacles that could result in a concussion and making prudent decisions when managing concussed players. The game simulates concussion symptoms when players are injured, adding a layer of realism to the experience.
Requiring players to collect power gems as they progress, CDC HEADS UP Rocket Blades enhances engagement by offering an exciting race to Galactic City upon amassing enough gems. Moreover, players have the opportunity to customize their victory celebration with a personalized selfie.
BRAIN SAFETY EDUCATION AND CONCUSSION PREVENTION FEATURES
