Players are tasked with guiding their characters through various challenges, ensuring they avoid obstacles that could result in a concussion and making prudent decisions when managing concussed players. The game simulates concussion symptoms when players are injured, adding a layer of realism to the experience.

Requiring players to collect power gems as they progress, CDC HEADS UP Rocket Blades enhances engagement by offering an exciting race to Galactic City upon amassing enough gems. Moreover, players have the opportunity to customize their victory celebration with a personalized selfie.
